All is not well in the town of Beautyrest Springs. It's most prominent citizen$ Mycroft Tanner did himself in. Or so reports Sheriff Tyred, in between his visits with Martha, the maid, who is also seeing Percy, the gardener, who is also keeping time with Frieda, the reporter, who is after a story and doesn't care who gets in the way. Then a big time attorney Lamar Lee Rascal shows up to execute the will, it is discovered that he jilted Tanner's batty sister at the alter. More murders, more relatives and more confusing this thing could not get!
